Peak Family Dental Centre is one of Cranbrook’s longest currently practicing dentist and has been operating in the heart of Cranbrook for many years. All of us at Peak Family Dental would like to welcome the newest member to our team, Dr. Reza Ahmadi who specializes in periodontics. Periodontics deal with the gums and bone surrounding the teeth. We are so lucky to have this specialty available to us here in Cranbrook, as normally we must refer to Lethbridge, Calgary, or Kelowna. Dr. Reza Ahmadi is a board-certified periodontal specialist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentist of Canada (FRCDC). He is a graduate of University of British Columbia’s Periodontal and Implant residency program and is a recipient of multiple academic and teaching awards at UBC. Dr. Ahmadi is also an active staff member of the dental department at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). In addition, He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UBC’s faculty of dentistry and teaches undergraduate dental students as well as dental residents at VGH. He will provide several different services in our office. These include crown lengthening, pocket reduction, gum and bone grafts, frenectomies and implants (to name a few). He will be travelling to our office once every 4-6 weeks. We have a list of people who have had interest in booking for a consultation with Dr. Reza and are calling those people now.
